Baker finished his Championship with all majors, under respected judges.

pictured above are Annaliisa Harijukari of Loresho Labradors in Finland,
and Maria Lopes Povoas of Marifield Labradors in Portugal.   In the middle
is Pablo, their Baker son.   His first show he won BOB Puppy both
days, Best in Group 8 Puppy both days, and Best in Show 2nd puppy
on Saturday, and Best in Show Puppy on Sunday. They could hardly
fit the trophies in the car. What a problem to have!!!
Congratulations Ladies!!!   What a weekend!!!

enthusiasm is fantastic to watch she gets so excited going after a bird she is squealing...
I must say she is the birdiest lab I have ever owned."

Congratulations to Cindy Schaeffer and her girl "Brie" of Tanglewood Labs
on her recent Winners Bitch and JAM at Spirit of St Louis Specialty Show
under breeder judge Manolo Queijeiro. Just three dogs short of a five point
major Cindy was overwhelmed to tears to win four points with this lovely girl.
Brie (Ch Lubberline Pumpernickle x Serendipitys Pocket Change) was bred by
Nancy Chargo (Banner Labs) and Cindy Skiba (Epoch Labs).

True testimonial from the owner of a young Baker son...

I have NO idea how he has accomplished this. I have a lovely finished basement that serves
as a laundry room and the dog play room. I typically do my laundry and fold it there. Well, recently when I took my laundry upstairs to put it away, I could not find any bras. I searched everywhere. Now, when I fold the clothes, I just layer it as it comes out of the dryer so things are just mingled (I.e. sweaters, sweatshirts, etc.) Nothing was disturbed, unfolded, tussled or messed up. I gave up.

A few days later, I was washing the dog beds ( which consist of several fleece sheets in each crate). Low and behold, he had three of my bras, undamaged and unchewed, tucked into his beds and he was resting his head on them. How in GOD's name he ever got them out of the laundry basket without unfolding or disturbing the other clothing I will never figure out. That boy remains a mystery to me and he is just the love of my life!

What fun eh? Never a dull moment!!!
